If you work at a company who needs any dev preferably embedded(i have some experience with RTOS development and vulkan SC) or gamedev (godot/ue/unity), or general graphics (especially vulkan) programmer: I've been trying to get a job for half a year. Thousands of job applications and only a handful of interviews. I do know my way around backend webdev, particularly in golang.
applying to HR is pointless, if you could just *talk* to either your boss or HR directly to schedule a job interview so i could bypass them and just prove my skills otherwise it'd mean the world to me.

If your website actually has a bot scraper problem you probably already have a rule that heavily rate limits non-browser UAs. Whether sites that use Anubis actually do that is another question.

Take into account that there were almost 4 centuries between the Islamic conquests of the Holy Land and the Crusades. While I can see how Reconquista can be considered a continuation of a defensive war, I fail to see how French, English, and Germans attacking Seljuks or Fatimids is in any way a defensive war against the Rashidun caliphate (which no longer exists). And that is just the first crusades, I'd love to hear how the Rape of Constantinople or the Northern Crusades were defensive.

Many malicious crawlers pretend to be a mainstream web browser, and all the mainstream web browsers say they're Mozilla/5.0 (because historical reasons, see https://webaim.org/blog/user-agent-string-history/ ). There are servers out there that will block you if you use a non-web-browser User-Agent, I once got IP blocked (temporary, I hope, I have a dynamic IP) for using wget recursively on a website of some 20 articles after hitting the second article. After getting a new IP & changing the User-Agent to my browser's one, it worked fine without any hiccups.
Basically, it's easier to detect & block crawlers with a non-Mozilla user agent without having to resort to Anubis (automatic heavy rate limiting, auto-blocking known offenders, etc).

erlang tutorial, the tutorial shows a code snippet that runs tut:double(10) and returns 20, in my terminal i have tut:double(20) and instead of returning 40 it just says "calculate it yourself dumbass"
