                                                                                                      language that has types and it's very strict about them but only in places that make it more painful. eg function parameters can only be words, you always have to manually cast to anything else in the body. to make things worse, stuff like "string" or "float" can have different representations (eg, is it by-copy or by-reference) depending on how the original variable was allocated and it's actually all automatic but you need to specify the exact way it's created when casting (so you need to do this whenever casting function arguments from words). impossible to refactor anything

                                                                                                                                                  ngl i think the upcoming minecraft update that just redesigns all the baby mobs is probably the worst update in recent memory, very little is actually added and most of the babies just look really uncanny. i honestly can't believe they're releasing this, i'd prefer them to just scrap it honestly. not that it matters, i doubt i'll ever play any minecraft version after 1.21.1 because that's where all the mods are because mod devs can't keep up with all of these stupid "drops"

                                                                                                                                                                                                        With a heavy heart, I must admit that I can no longer continue with the @neomojimixer project.

                                                                                                                                                                                                        Unfortunately, I have not been able to make a meaningful contribution to this great project for more than 10 months, which makes it difficult for me to find peace of mind with so many unresolved issues.

                                                                                                                                                                                                        Peace and quiet is something I don't have right now, and I also lack the time.

                                                                                                                                                                                                        I would love to change the system from PNGs to SVGs, add the many missing arms and Neocat's fluffy tail in all available colours, and so on.
                                                                                                                                                                                                        , but I don't have the energy right now.

                                                                                                                                                                                                        So, I would like to put out a call for someone to take over the project. If you are interested in continuing the project, please contact me via reply or DM.

                                                                                                                                                                                                        I won't have the time or energy to continue the project meaningfully in the foreseeable future, so I don't want to leave it lying around and have it disappear after three years. I don't want to waste all the contributors' and my own time and effort.

                                                                                                                                                                                                        If no one can or wants to take it over, I will end the project in September 2026. This means archiving the project on Codeberg, cancelling the domain, and asking Mia to delete the connection to her webspace.

                                                                                                                                                                                                        This is a difficult decision for me, but not being able to continue the project is also heartbreaking.
