So, I looked at the thread some more. Apparently this doesn't apply to just poast, it applies to some 1000+ instances. I assume that's the end result of referencing a block list.
You can check if your instance is affected by hitting up the url displayed below via curl with the instance param and using curl's verbose flag to see if you get a 302. Lab is affected, it'd be a massive waste of bandwidth to keep trying to fetch the user from this instance so effective immediately I am defederating this host.
