                                @arcana @kaia @vriska @eris not how it works. as someone who's actually gone through the green card process, you just need to meet up for 2 weeks and then apply for a k-1 visa. then they would probably travel to saipan (a US territory) and marry you. from there you would maintain the marriage and merge your assets for 2 years until you could get a green card

                                        @arcana @kaia @vriska @eris k-1 visa is just what gets you in the country to marry your fiance(e). after you get married you apply for adjustment of status to permanent resident and apply for a green card. you can get an Employment Authorization Document to work in the meantime
