They kinda are, HTTP is built on top of a streaming transport layer. You don't necessarily immediately get the entire payload in one chunk.

@eris I know but you could just abstract that part out since most http responses do in fact end. Also the fact you have to define your own internal structure rather than just using a libcurl provided type for the writefunction is just, what the fuck

@eris I mean to be fair go makes you do mostly the same thing, you have to read everything from a stream rather than get back a giant lump of the totality of the data
