Honestly "using JavaScript for config/data" sounds like the title of an introduction chapter to JSON history. (JSON is a secure replacement to just
evaling JS which is what people would do.)...
@eris literally no issues with json other than it not being fun to edit

Yeah JS feels like a weird choice. Perhaps that's the only scripting language aside from shell that the author knew?
