There's been an exodus from Twitter to Bluesky after a recently added feature (image editing via image generation AI) caused an artist revolt. And apparently Bluesky is deciding to act like Mastodon users. 🥴

I've seen people blatantly disregard the flaws of Bluesky because they've had enough experience on there, mainly with how bad the Discover feed is and telling users to use other feeds. A bit like "use this Linux distro, not this one!".

Ideally, Bluesky needs to have something much better than Discover since it's the first thing you see when you go to Bluesky, and I hope they're cooking something so people don't bounce off.

(this is also my opportunity to say it's not so much algorithms that are the problem, but the controllers of them. The Fediverse's lack of algorithms is not the seller you actually think it is.)
