I don't need to display them, I need the terminal to send ctrl+shift+a to the program when i press that instead of ctrl+a. or whatever monstrosity i might want, ctrl+alt+f12. In my experience, that is usually pretty shit across terminals but maybe im just too lazy to read manuals for hours to see what custom modifications to terminfo i need to do
